Palace Inn Kingwood

Very pleasant experience. The employees were great. The room I rented was very clean and up kept. Television to watch and breakfast in the morning. Reasonably priced as well. I ended up leaving early and without asking they refunded some of my money just because I didn't stay the alloted time. I would say they go above and beyond.

The location of this Palace Inn is perfect; right off the freeway. Rooms are comfortable, clean, big TVs, everything works. The only negative is the water not draining very well while taking a shower. This is the second time one of their rooms has done this and a small amount of water remained in the tub. They have plenty of parking and plenty of room to maneuver in the parking lots. If you get one of the rooms towards the front of the property but on the backside it has a small parking lot almost just for those people in those rooms. Grassy areas to walk Fido. Very comfortable beds and I love the pillows.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on Christmas. Because of the price I had very low expectations. The room was so clean and the owner was so friendly. We travel a lot for work so we were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. Thanks for a great stay :)

Completely renovated - all new room furnishings from the couch, workstation (with good power and lighting), bed, to the bathroom, all were new, clean, and nice. As for the comment about PriceLine bait and switch, I've learned to reserve on PriceLine at the quoted price and then appear at checkin with the reservation showing the price - no issues here or elsewhere. As for the "low class" comment, this is not a Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott so reset your expectations and you'll be happier. Given that I've stayed at some dives, I can assure you that Palace Inn was quite nice - not a Hyatt Regency with staff everywhere, but a very clean, very nice, quiet motel-like facility. I plan to stay here when I'm next in Houston.

Budget motel that's moderately sized and doesn't feel cramped. Room is furnished with modern contemporary style furniture and appears to be kept clean, which is a plus. Even though it's right off the freeway, it's relatively quiet. Good place to stay and get work done.

Best one I have stayed at by far. The only thing I've found at other Palace Inns that I really missed was a ceiling fan. The room was still clean, spacious, comfortable bed and awesome pillows.

I'm a long-hauler from out of town hey my co-driver have been here since yesterday the roads are closed down we cannot leave we cannot get out of here we are trapped I believe the manager is the owner not sure there have been great from the beginning they have done everything to help us he loaned us his car or we could go get some food because we can't get our trucks out it is trapped behind the hotel in eight feet of water it's not submerged under the water it's just trapped so many people that you don't know what hand you their keys to your car and Sago he's guys are unbelievable I give him 20 Stars I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity the rooms are very nice too I really enjoy then it's a shame we don't have any power don't know how long we'll be here have to wait for the roads to clear we're in the flood of outside of Houston

Owner is very nice and pleasant to deal with. Rooms are simple but large at a nice price. Only downfall no wash or Dyer but that's ok. No bugs at all.
